Deterrence Intruders look for the easy way in. A controlled gate and a visible reader tell them to keep moving. Unlocked and propped doors are the openings they count on.
Control A lost, stolen, or unreturned credential is cancelled in seconds — the locks never change. No locksmith visit, no rekeying every door after one lost master key.
Protection Pool and spa hours enforce themselves, equipment rooms stay closed to the wrong people, and every entry is on record. Fewer liability questions, and clear answers when something happens.
Value Residents and tenants expect secure, controlled access. It helps a property lease faster, sell stronger, and keep its reputation. An amenity people notice on the first visit.

Why Properties Move to Access Control

Keys can be copied, lost, and kept by people who no longer belong on the property. Access control replaces them with credentials you can issue, limit, and cancel from your desk — and a record of every entry.

Lost Keys Stop Being an Emergency

A lost or unreturned card is switched off in seconds. No locksmith, no rekeying every door, no wondering how many copies are out there.

Doors That Keep Your Schedule

Pool, spa, gym, and clubhouse doors lock and unlock on their own. After-hours rules enforce themselves — no staff, no signs, no arguments.

A Record of Every Entry

Who opened which door, and when. Settle disputes, investigate incidents, and support insurance claims with facts instead of guesses.

Manage From Anywhere

Let a vendor in from your phone. Add a new owner or tenant, cancel a former one, or review the day’s events without driving to the site.

One Credential for Everything

The same card, fob, or phone opens the vehicle gate, pedestrian gates, pool, gym, mailroom, and lobby. Fewer keys for residents, staff, and you.

Works With Your Cameras and Intercom

Pair each entry with video, let visitors call the office to be let in, and manage it all from one screen — installed by one contractor, not three.

Sound Familiar?

The everyday problems access control was built to end.

With Keys

  • A former resident, employee, or vendor may still have a working key.
  • One lost master key means rekeying every lock — again.
  • Pool and gym hours depend on someone remembering to lock up.
  • After an incident, nobody can say who was in the building.
  • Every turnover means collecting keys, cutting keys, and hoping.

With Access Control

  • Cancel a credential the moment someone leaves. It stops working everywhere.
  • Lost fob? Deactivate it, issue a new one. Locks stay exactly as they are.
  • Amenity doors follow the schedule you set — holidays and all.
  • Pull the entry log, match it to camera footage, and know.
  • Move-ins and move-outs are a few clicks, not a locksmith visit.

How an Access Control System Works

Four parts, working together in a fraction of a second.

  1. Credential

A card, fob, PIN, phone, or transmitter identifies the person or vehicle.

  2. Reader

The reader at the door or gate checks the credential using encrypted communication.

  3. Controller

A controller on site decides in milliseconds — and keeps working even if the internet is down.

  4. Door or Gate

The lock releases or the gate opens, and the event is logged for your records.

Common Questions

What happens during a power or internet outage?

Access decisions are made by the controller on site, so doors and gates keep working on their schedules without an internet connection. Battery backup carries the system through power outages, and every door on an exit path is set up so people can always get out — we design each opening to meet fire and building code.

Can you add access control to our existing gate operator?

In most cases, yes. Readers, keypads, transmitters, and intercoms connect to the operator you already have, and we can add vehicle loops and safety devices at the same time. If the operator is at the end of its life, we’ll tell you before you spend money integrating it.

Do residents or employees need a smartphone?

No. Cards, fobs, PIN codes, and transmitters work for everyone. Mobile access is an option you can offer alongside them, not a requirement.

Who manages the system day to day?

You can — adding and removing people, changing schedules, and reviewing events is done from a simple web page or app. If you’d rather not, Tritech can handle it for you under a maintenance agreement, with priority service when something needs attention.

Cloud-hosted or on-site software?

Either. Cloud-hosted systems let you manage every property from anywhere with nothing to maintain on site; on-site systems keep everything on your own network. We’ll recommend the fit for your property and budget, and both keep working locally if the connection drops.

Will it work with our cameras and intercom?

Yes — that’s the point of using one contractor. Entry events can be tied to camera footage, and a video intercom can release the gate or door for visitors. We install and support all three, so nothing falls between vendors.
